Alison Handling | Plastic Storage

Pixel Kicks has been named the new digital partner for Alison Handling, a leading provider of eco-conscious and reusable plastic storage solutions in the UK.

In this role, Pixel Kicks will manage a wide array of digital services including SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, as well as hosting and support, covering Alison Handling’s core retail operations and its subsidiaries, GW Containers and the Rebox Storage Solutions e-commerce site.

Based in Kirkham, Lancashire with an annual turnover of £7 million, Alison Handling offers a vast selection of plastic storage items such as boxes, trays, skips, totes, pallets, and pallet boxes from their extensive warehouse facilities.

The company caters to industries including food, catering, horticulture, entertainment, hospitality, manufacturing, retail, waste management, recycling, healthcare, and education. Alison Handling is a part of the PPS Group, which is headquartered near Uttoxeter and specializes in services related to returnable transit packaging including rental, pooling, management, washing, and repairs.

The decision to appoint Pixel Kicks followed a competitive pitch involving four other agencies from the North West. Previously, Alison Handling had engaged multiple agencies for its marketing needs; consolidating these under Pixel Kicks marks a significant unification of its marketing efforts.

The strategic focus moving forward will involve promoting Alison Handling’s expertise and diverse range of products, driving inquiries, forming new partnerships, boosting sales, supporting market expansion, and growing its corporate client base. Additionally, there will be a targeted effort to enhance visibility and functionality of the Rebox Storage Solutions e-commerce site.

Glenn Broomfield, Alison Handling’s Managing director, said:

During the pitch process, it became obvious that Pixel Kicks’ mixture of creativity and technical expertise stood them apart, alongside their understanding of our business and what we want to achieve. We are looking forward to seeing their ideas come to life and benefiting commercially.

Jamie Bray, Business Development Manager at Pixel Kicks, added:

Alison Handling is a leader in its field, so we are delighted to now be working with them as their retained digital partner. Our focus is always on helping our clients get closer to their customers and that will be our primary aim as we support Alison Handling to achieve their goals.
