The Cairn Distillery is a modern whisky-making destination set in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, created to celebrate both the craft of Scotch whisky and the wild spirit of its surroundings. Owned by the fourth-generation family business Gordon & MacPhail, a name synonymous with whisky expertise for over a century, The Cairn represents the next chapter in their long-standing legacy of selecting, maturing and bottling some of Scotland’s finest and rarest whiskies.

Designed as a contemporary counterpart to traditional Speyside distilleries, The Cairn combines cutting-edge distillation techniques with a deep respect for nature and place. Located beside the River Spey, its striking architecture and immersive visitor experience invite guests to explore tours, tastings and the CRN57° whisky range, offering an early expression of the distillery’s character ahead of its first single malt release in the 2030s.
