Vacancy: Business Development Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand and grow our digital agency.
Working closely with our founder Chris Buckley, you will be one of the key faces of the company and will have the dedication to help create and apply an effective sales strategy.
You will be responsible for identifying high-quality new business opportunities from a steady feed of inbound enquiries, building a qualified new business pipeline.
You will take the lead in preparing and delivering new business pitches and write tender response documents. You will also work closely with the agency marketing team to help create an outreach strategy that will drive future inbound enquiries.
The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with new and existing clients.

The successful candidate must have the following key requirements:
- Develop a business development strategy focused on financial gain.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers, with the ability to build rapport.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience operating in a sales, business development, or client services role.
- Excellent working knowledge of websites and digital marketing.
- Handle inbound enquiries and look after established clients, ensuring repeat business and identifying up-selling opportunities.
- Be confident on social media, utilising this as a channel to nurture leads, especially on LinkedIn.
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for new inbound enquiries, through telephone, email and live chat.
- Assess quality of leads.
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients both in person and over Zoom/Teams.
- Write sales proposals and present them to prospects.
- Assist with tenders and RFIs that may lead to new business.
- Follow-up on leads.
- Help the business to achieve growth and hit sales targets.
- Be client-facing and attend meetings and/or client pitches.
- Be proactive and suggest improvements on our entire sales and marketing strategy.
- Look to develop partnerships with other agencies and businesses.
- Maintain our internal CRM, ensuring it is kept up-to-date with the latest sales activity.
- Help to implement efficiency and automation of repetitive tasks through our CRM, and recommend improvements
